Joshua P. Host, a Principal and CO-Founder of Urban Village, has purchased, positioned and sold over $119 million in real estate investment and development projects.

In the first part of the decade Joshua worked as a broker for a California based broker dealer holding his Series 22 and 63 licenses raising capital for private placements in a variety of industries including real estate. In addition to capital raises Joshua held a California Sales Person license and raised debt for developers, and investors.

In 2005 Joshua started a real estate company that focused on repositioning distressed assets and was named one of the fastest growing private companies in Orange County in 2008/2009.

In 2008 Joshua created a Community Home Ownership Program which offered over 500 redeveloped homes nationwide to low income families with seller financing for less than they pay in rent.  The program required the creation of rigorous processes covering due diligence, transactions management, sales, construction management, quality control and post sale services to complete the client life cycle. The program was featured on Fox News, ABC, NBC and multiple newspapers and radio stations.

Joshua is a member of the Young Leaders Group (YLG) at the Orange County Urban Land Institute and is currently completing his MBA at Pepperdine University. Joshua resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife and two young children.
